Britney Spears’ comeback single, ‘Gimmie More,’ has been given its radio debut in America.

The track aired last night (August 30th) on New York’s Z100 and has since appeared on the stations website.

Sounding not to dissimilar to a Justin Timberlake track, the song – which has been produce by Timbaland protégée, Danjahandz – opens with Britney introducing her return to music.

‘Gimmie More’ is the first song to be taken from Spears’ as-yet-untitled new album – which will be the long awaited follow-up to 2003’s, ‘In The Zone.’
