Fabric Gets Cool And Deadly With Marine Parade
admin
(London, UK) - At some point, the law of averages dictates that Fabric will do something wrong…..however, not tonight. Not with two breaks dons in the house, showcasing how different their sounds are now … come on, Adam Freeland and Tayo on the same night? No other club could pull it off…be prepared for it to be rammed!
On Friday 15 February, the break-beat scene comes full circle, in a club that’s always been home to this wonderfully varied sound. Fabric have -again - managed to book some of the best in the business with break-beat originators Adam Freeland and Tayo playing on the same night, as Freeland wants your soul in Room One (with his label posse from Marine Parade) while Tayo gets his Cool & Deadly on in room three. Nice.
Mr Freeland’s been busy in the studio, ‘I’m looking forward to rocking it with the whole Marine Parade family. We have all got a lot of new material together as all of our albums will be dropping over the next few months. We come to destroy!’
He’ll be aided in his mission by Alex Metric, Eddy Temple-Morris’ ‘best remixer of 2007′, who’s taking the sound to interesting new places, plus top boys Evil Nine, whose album You Can Be Special Too still sounds excellent (and varied), and South Central, who play their first London show.
Then over in Room Three there’s the other man from (original breaks night) Fiction, Tayo. A true don of the scene.
