German electro titans Digitalism have won a whole lot of new fans in the year and half since their debut album Idealism was released, and this summer they’re heading back to Australia for another run of live shows around the country. If you can’t wait to see the boys rocking it out on festival stages, perhaps it’s best you don’t take a look at this ad for Microsoft’s Zune mp3 player.

We’re all for dance artists making a bit of cash on the side by licensing their music for advertising purposes, but after watching this commercial – which features a remix of Digitalism’s track Pogo – it’s now going to be hard for us to get the grotesque vision of a naked, hairy, obese man spraying paint from his ass out of our head… we’d love to know how the agency sold this idea into the client!
