Paris’ life isn’t boring. We will definitely give her that. The ubiquitous celebutante went from crying because 50 Cent wouldn’t let her dance on stage with him at last week’s pre-Super Bowl party to accepting an award at the most intellectually prestigious place in the U.S.

But before you start thinking too hard about what it means to “deserve” things in life, know that the honor was bestowed upon the 26-year-old party girl by the institution’s Lampoon organization — a quasi fraternity of undergraduate funnymen, whose former members include ‘Late Night’ host Conan O’Brien and B.J. Novak (aka Ryan on ‘The Office’). And the award in question, Woman of the Year, is a spoof on Harvard’s (far more serious) Hasty Pudding Theatricals annual award, which will present their award to Charlize Theron in February.

So what did Hilton say when she stood on the stoop of Lampoon palace to accept her trophy? What else? “Harvard is hot!” Long live pop culture.
